The Long Table

“If you have more than you need… build a longer table, not a higher fence.”

Welcome to my blog! My purpose and endeavor in this space is to be a light – operating in kindness and generosity, and highlighting some pretty wonderful people along the way!

It’s my pleasure to introduce Danielle Boissevain.  Danielle is strength defined. Beauty and grace embodied. Slightly clumsy.  She has a big laugh and an even bigger heart. I might be a little biased because she’s actually my cousin but I think the world...

What can I say about Nicole Johnson? She is quite simply, one of the best human beings I know.  I often think back over the past couple of years of my life- and I realize that there are so many people that I now hold near and dear because I took a risk and tried...

I have so much enjoyed getting to know women in this community through Billie Jean’s blog, “The Long Table.” I strongly believe in the need for women to lift up other women. Billie Jean is taking steps to create a space for women to share their stories of working and living in this area. The questions she asks invite her guests to examine themes that have led to their successes, and their answers are given honestly and in their own words. Here is an opportunity for us to find our common ground in the past and present, and to plan for the future together.
